We probably came the wrong time of year (March) but still a lovely place. Accommodation was lovely as was the local produce breakfast. Walks through the woods were excellent. Biggest downside was that the village pub had closed down a few months before.

Poplar Cottage is a great place to stay and explore the local area. The cottage suite comprises a Living room with a woodburning fire, a sunny garden room, a large cottage bedroom and bathroom. You have use of the large garden and off road parking. It is close to Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, the Cotswolds and South Wales. The Cottage overlooks the Lower Woods Nature Reserve, one of the largest Oak woodlands in the UK and can be accessed from the back garden.
