We stayed here for 1 night in January. The room was very pleasant if plainly furnished. The weather outside was freezing but the room was very warm and cosy. Breakfast was very good with cereals followed by a cooked breakfast and as much tea/coffee as you can drink. more
Now under new management. Very helpful and friendly. Great Bar food. Clean big rooms. Booked to go again in August. more
This was our overnight stop after walking the first, 15 mile leg of the South Downs Way from Winchester. We'd set off from Winchester about 11am and arrived here at 5pm.
