The Lyndhurst Park Hotel is the best in the forest, we have been going for 9 years now and the staff, food and location is absolutley superb! The room: faulty appliances and scolding water from the shower! The food: service was bizarre (staff come out with an array of meals and if you want it shout!) food was dire.....steer clear of the scary looking prawns, take a chainsaw for the pate and add lots of seasoning for the green water (the soup!).
