We booked this hotel for 3 nights, as we had stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. What a mistake we made! When we arrived we were checked in and told that the deputy manager had walked out so that our host was a friend of the owner and just helping out. Maybe this goes some way... more

This is a truly wonderful location. Paid £90 per night for the four poster room, which was comfortable and quite clean, although a little dated. We enjoyed our stay at the Burley Inn. The location is amazing. The Burley Inn has a lot of Character. The rooms were nice and very clean. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was really nice as well. All in all a happy stay more

A typical country Inn. The Staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was a guest lounge upstairs which is useful to chat and play games. The room was let down by an uncomfortable bed and the bathroom was very basic and in need of an up date. more

Went there one lunchtime this week with a group of 15 people. Food for a fair price but not cheap (£6.99 for ham egg and chips) -reasonable portions. Did well with a large group - only one little error - food popular and well received. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would definately eat there again! more

The hotel room was basic with some old furnishings but moderately priced. However the restaurant service and food was a disgrace. On our first Valentines togerther we patiently waited 45 minutes before chasing the waiter for our starter. 10 mins later our main course arrived.......still no sign of our first course so our main course went back to the kitchen!!... more

I must praise this hotel for how well they accomodated my husband and I and two young children. They were very considerate in attending to our particular needs and friendly and helpful at all times. more
