If you stop and think of your mental image of "the perfect B&B", The Upper Mount House Hotel would just about represent most people's image of perfection. . The room we stayed in (no.5) was attractively furnished and decorated in a traditional style which wasn't stale or outdated. There was a single and a comfortable double bed in the room.... more

I was actually quite surprised with this place. We'd shopped around for a bit and everywhere seemed quite expensive (we're used to Northern prices). This BnB seemed well priced compared to other BnBs in the area and with the off street parking I expected it to be shoddy. However it was really really good.
