We like Portsmouth area because it has history,seaside and good places to eat and drink. Good road links mean you can get about easily just expect delays in the rush hour. This is our second year to stay at the Innkeepers Lodge. Good value, especially when you get the 3 nights for the price of 2 - stay Fri and Sat and get Sun free (£58 per night). Rooms are large and comfortable, very clean and with everything you need. Mattresses may need changing though as you can feel the springs.... more
