I'd recommend this B&B to someone who is budget-conscious and wishes to be within easy walking distance of Southampton Central Station for train connections. The room reminded me of where a great-aunt might put you up for the night, well-kept and cozy, with a bit of old-fashioned charm. Romanian manageress is lovely and works very hard for her guests; breakfast is included. The city walls, Bargate, High Street, Oxford Street and ferry connections to Isle of Wight are all within walking distance. more
