Wonderful setting, excellent breakfast buffet.Room and amenities were great. Staff helpful and pleasant. Quick to act on requests. Stayed pre-cruise leaving from Southampton. In the country so worked out well as we had rented a car. Would stay again. Golf course on property, not a golfer but course looked good. more

I really only booked this place because I had some points to use, and it was relatively close to Stonehenge. It's fine. Just a typical 3-4 star accommodation. Lacks any character however. The golf course looked nice, although I did not golf. more

I really dont know how to describe this property, other than to say that it is nothing like any of the other Marriott "Resort" properties that I have stayed at. While the location is beautiful, the hotel is not well run. If you are easy going you can enjoy this place, but if you have higher expectations, don't stay here. The rooms were renovated recently and aren't too bad. There is no air conditioning in the rooms - just a fan. It got a little warm, but it was doable.... more

Stayed there over the week end with the family. Great Staff at Reception, they went the extra mile and we got a win win situation.
