This is actually a great campsite, decent facilities and an amazing setting. But it is let down by the incredibly rude and small-minded staff that run the place. Staff were extreamly rude.They would not allow me to stay on their site and said they did not have to give me a reason why.I have never encountered such rude staff before. This was a nice place when it was run by the foresty but now it seems to be in other hands and they have also doubled the price.... more
I’m giving it one star. The facilities are what you would expect from a campsite and can not be faulted. The horses and ponies do make the campsite feel like you are deep in the New Forest also. Returned from the campsite today. Had a lovely 3 night break and can't wait to return to the New Forest! Horses and Ponies make the stay more fun. We were lucky to have the hottest 4 days all year! Try the New Forest pub (closest one to site) we had some gorgeous food! The Happy Cheese pub was also great.... more
very noisy site, large rowdy groups . There is no monitoring of noise and rowdiness more
