I stayed here one night when I was in Southampton on business. I decided to stay the night due to the driving distance. I was just looking for reasonably priced B&B that was easy to book for one night, with free parking and I wasn't expecting anything special. I was to be pleasantly surprised. I have to say, when I... Through my work I have been using Hunters Lodge on and off for the last 8 years. I cant fault the place. The accommodation, breakfast and overall experience is first class. Jim and Josie are great hosts from whom nothing is too much trouble. This is the B+B that I set my standards by - if only all B+Bs were... More

I stayed at Hunter's Lodge for two nights and was very impressed with the room I was allocated... spotlessly clean, warm and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, lots of wardrobe and cupboard space, and an excellent en-suite shower room. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and quite delicious, and served by Reg, a very friendly host who was looking... More

Stayed here whilst working away. Welcomed by very friendly staff on arrival. The room was clean, warm and cozy and with free wifi. A good breakfast was served in the morning with great percolated coffee. A few shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Well having travelled a lot and been to lot of places abroad as well, I was not too excited when I had to stay at BnB called Hunters Lodge. I was not even impressed by its name as its not Holiday Inn or premiere inn. But it all changed once I arrived here. THIS IS THE PLACE. an awesome experience... More

Marooned at Southampton Airport by bad weather in the Channel, I rang Jim the owner who kept a room for me until it was confirmed my flight was cancelled Great welcome, warm and cosy room and an excellent breakfast that sent me on my way calm and happy the next day. Thanks Jim & Josie a real lifesaver. Tony Sheridan

Friendly and accommodating owners. Rooms spotlessly clean, well equipped and perfect for a comfortable nights sleep. On-suite shower room was lovely. Breakfast was cooked fresh and to order, lovely food and atmosphere. If I am in Southampton again this will be my number one choice.

Very friendly hotel. Lovely room and excellent breakfast. nothing too much trouble and go out of their way to make you welcome. Super location as near to pubs wanted to visit and not too far from shops. Will definitely stay again if visiting Southampton

Arrived at this hotel to find plenty of parking. Josie and Jim greeted us in an extremely friendly manner. We were shown to our room which overlooked part of the car park. The room was en suite and included all the amenities. The room was extremely clean and very very quiet. No sounds from the road or the carpark. Breakfast... More
