The design has those very predictable contemporary feel that cheap chain hotels have these days and it is far too big and impersonal to feel luxurious or special. The feel in the hotel (funriture, design, service) is very much a chain family hotel. The service is good but still too standardised. The spa very average and slightly boring. ...Was the first reaction as we found this B&B. The welcome was really friendly but it is hideously overpriced for what you get! The rooms are dated and in need of some serious TLC, the breakfasts are cheap and nasty (tesco value me thinks) and the location can only be described as woeful.
