We went for an art weekend, we used all the facilities, the twin room (no 3) was very comfortable & clean, we did read the reviews before going and all we can say is the hotel must have had a bunch of moaners before. I couldn't agree more with Roncita, the staff were unfriendly and rude, the only people that smiled were the cleaners and it seems they are the only people doing a good job in the hotel. I am sorry, but you were told at the time of booking that the only rooms left available were on the second floor, will low ceilings and an en suite bath only. You chose to accept them.
