I stayed here for a Christmas party and had a wonderful time. We had a newly renovated room 218 which was clean and quiet. Breakfast was served to our room for a cost of £4 which was excellent. All the staff were helpful, bar prices were expensive but a wonderful hotel and I would stay again. More

As a music lover the weekend spent at Chilworth Manor, near Southampton, was glorious. An event hosted by Terry Barfoot as part of his 'Art in Residence' venture, it introduced me to music that I had never listened to before, and an hotel that I'd never previously known, and both proved to be a real pleasure. The hotel sits in... More

This hotel is one of the best. We arrived to be greeted by friendly staff, who could not do enough for us. The room was out of this world, very clean. The evening meal & breakfast were out of this world, again the staff had time to talk to you , this is one hotel I would go back to... More

Many thanks for your positive review. 231 is one of our Deluxe rooms and comes with a simply beautiful view of our grounds as all out our Superior and Deluxe rooms do, not to mention a large proportion of our Standard bedrooms. I know your review will be greatly received by a number of our staff and management team who... More

The room was small and 'dated'. The bedspread was dirty. The bathroom was tiny, with poor water pressure. The room condiments were poorly stocked. The restaurant refused to honour my groupon voucher, and offered a pathetic menu which didn't scrape on the supposed £250 value. A very disappointing visit. The chef however should be commended on doing a good job... More

Thank you for your review and highlighting the issues you encountered. I know we have discussed this matter in full but for the benefit of future guests I feel it's important to highlight the Groupon voucher offer: Groupon sell a voucher that includes a Standard bedroom, full English buffet breakfast in the Restaurant and a 3-course evening meal for two... Nice old style hotel, staff very friendly, good food and very organised for taxis to the port and return. The room we stayed in was a bit tired looking but functional for our one night stay. We did have some problems in finding the hotel as our sat nav took us to the old entrance to the hotel but on... More

Chilworth manor is a very good choice for a relaxing weekend around southampton. Around the manor surroundings you can wander for hours in the woods which is a bonus point. Food in the manor is english style and above average. The highlight of your visit would be the ability to use their health club - spa which consists of a... More

Had a lovely time during my spa day, having been a long awaited treat for myself and two friends. We were very excited indeed to beat the Monday blues at work and spend the day at the spa. We stayed overnight as part of a Reunion Dinner which had been organised at the Hotel. We were only really staying their for convenience and expected the rooms to be merely adequate - but they were better than that. Our room was large with a large comfortable bed. Can anyone tell me about the disabled access at the hotel. I have recently visited the hotel to see about the disabled access for a stay for my mum.
