Stayed here for two nights, convenient for city centre and Solent university. Staff were very friendly and helpful on all occasions. The room and bathroom were both a good size and clean with efficient air conditioning. We stayed here on 11th June 08 as we were seeing Bon Jovi at St. Marys and wanted reasonable hotel within walking distance to the stadium. This is exactly what we got. we was greeted with smile checked in 2hrs early, room was first class, staff were very helpfull and freindly, even when our chocolate got stuck in the machine at midnight. the bar was very welcoming and plesent, the resteruent was clean first class waiters and the food was 5 star never expected it to be so good presented far better... more

This is an okay hotel. The location is quite good, and is an easy walk from the train station but, the reception was slow and not terribly helpful. This is the second year I've "stayed" (see below) in the Premier Inn for business. It gets booked for me, so I just take what I'm given. Usually. Last year it was OK, although the place was smoky and breakfast mediocre and over-priced - and what's with the excessive security? You can't even get to the lifts without your key.... more
