My wife and I booked for 1 night a double room with separate private bathroom. It was on the second of 3 floors with a view over the large and lovely back garden. The room was on the smallish side (we were aware of this when we booked) but the private bathroom was very spacious. The renovated period house oozed with quality fittings and good taste. The house is in a quiet area on a small road just off a main road with adequate off street parking in front of the house. Its an easy 20 minute walk to the Cathedral and town centre. Breakfast was in a light and airy conservatory facing the back garden and was one of the best (if not the best) breakfasts we've had anywhere. In particular, the fresh fruit salad was superb. The hostess, Helen, is a charming and friendly person who made us very welcome. Nothing was a problem for her. As we were the only guests staying that day, we were spoiled for service.
