what a shabby desolate hotel. Inadequate lighting in the car park greets you when you arrive. Try to arrive in daylight because the on line instructions on finding the hotel are wrong. Receptionist was not awful but the room was bleak. On the surface clean but underneath yuk. The kettle was so dirty I was not prepared to boil it... more

Been to a few travelodges around the country, so decided to book this one as we had to visit Sparsholt. Room was clean & in reasonable condition. Bathroom looked like it's had a touch up recently with fresh silicon around the bath, sinks etc. Great location, just on the A34. And you've got the services yards away for Burger King... more

Stayed last month on a saver deal of £26. The location is good for Winchester and is quieter than the travel lodge on the opposite carriageway.
