Room not ready at check-in, was given key to find the room still being cleaned. Awakened at 4am by the fire alarm, false alarm which went off for more than half an hour before they were able to silence it. Rooms are very hot in summer as no proper ventilation. Not recommended. more

i stay here once a year due to business and last stayed in sept. '06. it's an odd hotel...opposite rickmansworth station but on the other side of the ring road with access underneath via a pedestrain underpass and i guess difficult to find by car for first timers. it is also of a very odd design being a bit maze... more

I stayed in the hotel during the heat wave in July on the top floor, it was extremely hot as there was no A/C, no fans were provided either. The room was spacious enough and comfortable, as you would expect. The girl at reception was very polite & helpful and breakfast was reasonable & served quickly in the building next... more
