Staying one night was enough for me! As a solo traveller, the room was tiny and like living in halls of residence. The bathroom was adequate, room was stuffy and the bed was ok. Stayed 1 night which was enough in a single bedroom.Bedroom very small with tired and dated deco. Bathroom even smaller and even more in need of updating.Buffet type breakfast which was ok except for the eggs which are also kept hot so carry on cooking till rubbery. I always stay here when I come to St Albans. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Well equipped gym and good room service. Doors & walls a little on the thin side.
