I have stayed at St Michael's Manor three times and each visit has been perfect. It's in a great location with beautiful grounds and walks nearby, as well as superb access to historic St Albans. We have visited the Manor on many occasions and this visit did not disappoint. We spent the night in the new Garden room block (where we spent our wedding night several years ago) which was faultless and we can not find a bad word to say about the hotel or staff. Excellent. more

I recently stayed here with my family including 2 small children. The staff were lovely to the children and to us. We got lots of useful advise about where to visit they even helped sort out my car which had broken down. Loved the breakfast followed by a walk through the park into the town. Great location for the shops!! more

We were a little nervous about our stay after having read comments from other visitors on trip advisor. Given the pedigree of the Hotel however and it's suitable location for our visit we decided to contact the Hotel to discuss our concerns.
