Party of six arrived for a 3 night stay. Very good location for town centre - 100 yards to centre square. Husband & Wife owned. He is friendly and wife smiles occasionally. Parking is at least £5 per day or long stay car parks available around the corner.

We paid the extra £10 for the four poster room (£90). We were a little dissapointed with our room but soon became overjoyed when we saw the our friends rooms and their bath/shower & wc facilities! Rooms are very clean, tidy and well presented.....but small.

Sound proofing is virtually non-existant. Had to buy ear plugs on second day. Every sound can be heard in the rooms above and below, tv, walking, coughing and 'toilet' activities.

Breakfast very good, served until 9.30 at weekends and 9.00 on week days which is not great if you are out late the night before.

Mai Thai Restaurant is excellent & just round corner. Olivo's Italian also good. more
