My employer put me up here for two nights, on the second of which I had to leave in the middle of the night for onward travel. The owner of the establishment helped my colleagues and I move our bags upstairs when we arrived, and made sure that we settled in OK. The service was friendly, and the breakfast was... More

Stayed at the Guesthouse in a twin room with a colleague for a conference. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast (vegetarian) amazing and the hosts very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal: close to the town center and only few minutes from the train station yet tucked away from the busy nightlife. Would highly recommend!

Stayed in the room with the four poster bed and the very big bathroom. It certainly is a very big bathroom! Stayed on the 16th of June, 2012. I thought the room was very good for the price and certainly no quibble about the 4**** rating. The breakfast was lovely and Terry is a fine host. My wife and I... More

First trip down to Canterbury in about a year, down for Jubilee weekend. First time with my new partner and as I had spoken of it so much to her, could only stay in one place. Since my last stay the guesthouse has received a makeover. I've just seen a review put on by IAXPYC (on the right hand side... More

Sad conditions for the price. Could have stayed at the Cathedral Lodge (budget rooms) for £10 less, with breakfast on white table cloths. But left booking too late, and Jubilee weekend, so ended up in this 4**** rated accommodation? Are they serious? Delapidated room. A very nice man, however. And basic breakfast. But the place needs a serious makeover.

We had best room in the house with the four poster bed and the big bathroom. It was nice and quiet, spotless, good internet and other bits and bobs to make the stay comfortable. The chap is very helpful and is an excellent host, and they also knock up a decent english breakfast. It is also only 5 minutes walk... More

Lovely people who run this B&B. You can ask them everything, they called us a taxi, they were very flexible concerning picking up our luggage. They helped us a lot with our questions. Both owners are very friendly and like to have a chat with their guests. It's our second time that we stayed in Allicante and each time we... More

From here you can easily walk into Canterbury in just a few minutes, and there's nice pubs and restuarants nearby. Off-road parking is available from late afternoons in the week and all weekend. Nice and clean. Welcoming host, clean rooms with a good tea and coffee tray, and a nice breakfast.

This is a lovely Guest House within walking distance of everything Canterbury has to offer. The owners Terry and Jean are very welcoming and friendly. We had the Four Poster room which was the largest double which was nicely decorated to the rear looking over the garden. The only reason we've given it 4 out of 5 is that the... More

If it is the Holiday Inn Express type of experience you are looking for - where once inside you could be anywhere in the world and the rooms and facilities are identical - you probably wouldn't be looking for accommodation in an independent family run Bed & Breakfast. But if you are hoping for a real genuine welcome, a cosy... More
