Stayed at 17 B&Bs en route from John O'Groats to Lands End. This was below average price we paid of £30 and gave as good value as any of them. Only downside is that it is a walk from city centre, stations and restaurants. more

My partner and her parents stayed with amanda for one night. We had a large room (which had lovely en-suite bathroom AND GARDEN!) and they stayed in one of the smaller rooms, still ample. Amanda was lovely as was the rest of the house. It seemed newly decorated when we were there, in fact I think she said she extended... more

I've stayed in a number B&Bs and hotels in Canterbury over the years and was pleasantly suprised to find Amanda House this time. It's only a five minute walk from the city centre and although on a fairly busy road. We stayed for three nights in the large double room "Canterbury Tales" at the rear of the house which was... more

The room was large, comfortable with lots of features such as ensuite, digital TV and a fridge. The breakfast was excellent and Amanda herself... more

The property was only a 5-10 minute walk to the main town centre. Rooms were clean and tidy, we also had a fridge in our room which was quite useful. Breakfast was good and we also had use of a communal kitchen to prepare our own food. Free onsite parking was also available. more

My partner and I stayed here as we had a friends birthday party to go to. We found the service very good with Amanda being friendly and helpful from the outset. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in our room while we explored Canterbury. The room was clean, well presented and had a good sized bathroom.... more

Very recomendable guesthouse just a few minutes to walk from towncenter. Not on a main street and therefore quite quiet. We stayed in the Cathedral view room which is in top of the house and very nice. Kitchen facilities and parking space available. nice breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Would defenitely stay there again. more
