This is the worst place I've ever stayed at. The rooms are tiny, dirty and extremely noisy. We stayed in the annex and every time someone turns even a tap on anywhere in the building the plumbing in the room comes to life. I stayed here for several nights. The village of Chilham is very charming and the inn is a convenient base for touring Kent. I was disappointed with the room. Stayed here in late 2004 and was very pleased with my stay. Only stayed the one night, just visited the village of Chilham as it has a castle, which really is a large private home.
