We stayed at the Falstaff hotel for a 3 night break and it was without a doubt delightful. The hotel is an old coaching inn and has retained its authenticity. My husband had booked a superior room as this was for my birthday. The room was in the original part of the hotel and had a 4 poster bed which...

My Partner and I stayed at Falstaff on the 30th and 31st of Jan 2012. We stayed in the outside Block called the Woodshed or something, sorry old age prevents me remembering the name of it, but we found it perfectly acceptable. Clean, warm and comfortable just what we wanted after the long drive from Sheffield. The staff were very...

This very old hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Canterbury city, located just outside the west gate, also easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was pleasant, with good and plentiful food and the reading room/lounge/bar was reminiscent of grander times with comfortable chairs and a welcoming open fire to relax...

Even though it was very cold the room felt warm on arrival and there was an extra heater if we needed it . Had a wonderful breakfast in the...

Historic hotel with great ambiance. Staff were friendly, helpful & professional. Rooms comfortable & clean with all facilities you would expect. Position of hotel is great - it’s an easy walk to Canterbury Town centre & all that it has to offer. Plenty of good restaurants very close to hotel.

I will keep this short and sweet!
Fantastic hotel with fantastic old room with all old victorian style rooms.
Breakfast was really nice
Maybe a bit steep for £110 a night , Well infact its out of my budget usually but I enjoyed my experiance and would have no problems staying again!
