Iffin Farmhouse is an absolutely lovely location to stay more than just a night or two. It is the ideal place to calm down surrounded by nature. Iffin offered just what we were looking for: a peaceful environment, comfortable rooms and excellent food, breakfast and dinner. the family and staff are very kind and lovely. We enjoyed our trips to... More

My wife and I stayed here for a one night stop over while at a local wedding. For a bit of a change we stayed in the Orchard Pickers Cottage which is just a short stroll from the house (past the pony paddock). It was well laid out, clean and comfortable, with a good heating set up (both fire and... More

Yes, in the Spring and Summer the views from the Cottage across the area of High Landscape Value are stunning. What terrific winds we had that night - we lost trees and part of our thatched barn! As part of our committment to the environment we have planted trees on two sides of the cottage to act as a wind... More

Once found (needs careful observation in the dark!) after the GPS says you 'have arrived', when one hasn't quite, the farmhouse is very welcoming, and so is the dog! A comfortable 3 suite B & B, really in the countryside, yet only 2 miles from Canterbury centre. Excellent breakfast will keep one fed until dinner! Well appointed, with lots of... More

My wife and I were due to be staying in Kent for one night to visit old friends but needed somewhere that was able to cater for canines as well as people, after some sifting and recommendations we settled on the old Iffin Farmhouse and yes, it is old. Some parts of it date back to the 17th/18th century. It... More

My wife and I were eager to get away from London for the weekend, but didn't know if we would find any places that would accommodate our 5-month old spaniel puppy. How wrong could we be! This is the friendlest and most accommodating B&B that you could find. The owners were wonderful - very laid-back and flexible. We got to... More

Needed a place to stay while visiting relatives in the Canterbury area - what a find! Only a few minutes from Canterbury but enjoying all the delights of the Kent countryside, Iffin Farmhouse provided first class accommodation for the family, (2 adults + 2 boys). The food was great and service could not have been better. We'll certainly be making... More

am not in a position to comment on the main house, we wanted to book a double room but none was available and we were offered a 'great cottage' well what is in fact is a hut at the top of a hill with a badly maintained path unlit some 200 yrs from the main residence, no photographs exist of... We are very upset that your expectations were not met and had you specifically requested on booking your partner wished to have a bath then we would have recommended elsewhere as all our rooms with baths were occupied. 97% of our guests staying in The Orchard Pickers Cottage love the combination of its remoteness, uniqueness and option for self catering... My family (2 adults, 3 children) stayed for a night in October during a short visit in Canterbury. The farm is beautiful, well kept, and the rooms are nice. The family room we stayed in was well made up and clean. We could hear some noises from the rooms next door but it was not bothersome. Breakfast was plentiful and... More

Thank you for your review - like yourselves most of our guests appreciate our high standards of cleanliness, great locally produced food served in a family atmosphere and good location (especially the space in the garden for children to play football etc). Like many accommodation providers we have seasonal variations in our prices and for more than one nights stay.... More

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay close to Dover as we had booked an early channel crossing the following day. We arrived at Iffin Farm very late in the evening but a member of staff waited up for us to show us to our room. We had a double room with ensuite which looked out onto the garden.... More

Iffin Farmhouse is wonderfully situated for hopping over to the continent. Being only 20 minutes from Dover we often have guests requiring to catch an early ferry or returning from France late (as indeed we do ourselves) so we quite understand the need for accommodating accommodation! More

Stayed at Iffin Farmhouse for three nights with my border collie, Beauty. Made very welcome and comfortable by owners and staff. Great pub meals nearby - locally sourced fine dining (and Beauty allowed to sit quietly under the table). Terrific walks and views in the area (favourite was around the Whitstable coastline area). Would definitely stay there again for a... More
