New managers took over The Way Out Inn in July. On a recent visit the beer (Masterbrew) was excellent. The locals appear to be much happier with the new landlord. I did not eat there, but the restaurant was full of contented looking diners - it is worth giving this pub another visit. more

Items on the menu not available, but you are not told that until you have finished your starters. Inedible duck breast, poor steak which you can hear the chef trying to tenderise in the kitchen, food served on cold plates, restaurant next to bar so full of smoke, Yuk, miniscule wine list. Not a great evening out! more
