We stayed here for two nights while walking the North Downs Way around Canterbury. Situated on Wincheap, close to the city centre, this guest house has private parking, which is very convenient as parking in Canterbury is quiet expensive. We had a twin ensuite room - very comfortable, bathroom was clean and tidy, tv and welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.
Joe is a very courteous host, with lots of knowledge of the local area and very friendly. A hearty breakfast was served in the lounge - full english or continental with croissants. Nothing was too much trouble and they are happy to bring you more tea, coffee etc. I noticed that they made packed lunches for some people as well.
There is a nice pub, the Maiden's Head, just down the road and it is only a ten minute walk or so to the city centre, with abundant restaurants and all the sites.
