This hotel is situated right next to the Rochester Airstrip (light aircraft only), and next to the busy Maidstone Road. I travelled with my husband for an overnight stay. The rooms are an average size, with furniture which was scuffed and looked older than the hotel. The window sill was peeling badly. The bathroom had mould around the seal and... more

This is a business hotel on the outskirts of Rochester and Chatham next to their airport and BAe. It was clean and comfortable; the air con in the room worked well and was rtelatively silent in operation. It is situated only a short drive to the historic centre of Rochester. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great. The... more

I stayed two nights for business purposes. First thing was very poor signage to the car park and concealed entrance. Booking in went fine, then I found the room more than a little tired with bathroom fittings not working properly, light bulbs dead, shabby furnishings with old food scraps underneath. Bar and food were a nightmare: surly, apathetic young lone... more

A nightmare to find and, because of roadworks, to reach. Right on a busy main road, but if you can get a room overlooking the airfield you'll have a fun view. Some rooms just look out on to a brick wall though! The interior badly needs updating, including the clunky old lift. Thankfully though the staff are superb and cannot... more

We stayed two nights at this hotel whilst visiting our family. The room looked rather tied although the bathroom had been modernised. The towels do need replacing, because they certainly have gone through their washing machine far too many times. The spa facilities are good, but rather crowded due to a good membership of outside non-residents. On our second night,... more

Having travelled from Orleans France to this hotel, all we wanted was a restful night prior to a 500 mile drive back to Scotland the following day. Retiring at 10.30pm, we were kept awake by blaring disco from the function suite below. This continued to 1am. Thereafter we were "entertained" by the inebriated guests retiring to their rooms after the... more

The staff were obliging we arrived after midnight nt he way back form Cannes so we were all to tired to use... more

Booked two rooms through special offer in newspaper. 2 nights with breakfast and dinner on one night. The bill for the dinner was dubious and had to be changed to show drinks only and then the amount went up again on checkout. I found this a bit suspicious but it was dealt with efficiently. Had to change one of the... more

Being handy for the motorway from London to the Channel Tunnel, it was not surprising to find several coach groups staying at the hotel. The pool area was heaving with children. They should really enforce the "no ball games at busy times" policy. Having said that, the lady on the fitness area reception was friendly and even offered to phone... more

Stayed here for three nights. Check in on Friday was excellent. Reception staff were very quick and efficient - very nice lady. Had the evening meal on Friday. Staff were excellent, very friendly. Meals were variable - Ham Hock meal was good, but Fish and Chips meals were very ordinary. Beefburger meal was very bad. Did not eat in the... more
