The venue is handily placed just off the A2 on the edge of Dover, and has great views over the town of River.

But the first problem was getting into it and booking in as first there was no sign outside and deciding which house it was was tricky; and then there was no answer at the door. We ended up having to call the owner and he then came to the door.

First night and breakfast was fine; but the second and third morning, no staff arrived and no breakfast was available and so I left.

The room had no curtains either, making sleep very difficult indeed.

All in all, a very unsatisfactory place to stay and unlikly to be in business very long unless it shapes up. more
