My husband and I work for a cruise line and we are constantly travelling. We are always looking for the wonderful "local" places that are above average. We have found this at the Park Inn. It is conveniently located in town and it is a short ride to the ferry terminal that takes you to Calais (France) or to join your cruise ship. The accomodations are lovely; they have been refurbished in the last few years, and we had a comfortable queen size bed and a huge bathroom. There is a great pub downstairs that is really classy and also a small enclosed backyard area if you want to sit outside. The owners were warm and accomodating - nothing was too much of a problem (even when my Texas husband needed extra ice !!!!) ...we can't recommend it more highly and we will tell our fellow crew members and guests the same. more
