Stayed in Patricia - twin bedded room. It was very comfortable. Often rooms are fine for sleeping in but you wouldn't want to spend time sitting in them. This was not the case at the Churchill. The room was spacious, the settee was comfortable and 2 radiators in the room plus one in the bathroom which could be turned on... More

This was a terrific B&B! We spent the night In the Clementine room. It was furnished with a sofa, chair and a queen sized canopy bed. The room was large and had great character. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The full, English breakfast prepared by Betty was delicious and carried us through most of the day.... More

Don't want to write to many nice things about this place in case when I want to use it next time, it is full. Rooms big and spacious, beds comfortable, off road parking and close by are places to eat - see Blakes. Breakfast is in their other guest house a couple of doors away and comes under the category... What a surprise. We stayed the night prior to a ferry crossing. Very comfortable Alex welcomed us and showed us to our room and where to park the car. Breakfast was fantastic Alastair and Betty the owners are a fantastic double act. Betty's description of Alastair as a cross between a Dictator and Basil Fawlty was spot on. Looking forward... More

B&B's are always a bit of a lucky dip, but this one is a winner! My wife and I were scared away from the waterfront by the horrendous prices for a bed only, and were starting to despair. We looked at a few B&B's from the street, however the Churchill was the first one we actually approached. We were given... More

and that definitely includes the hosts! I had a cosy single room, with lovely large en-suite, overlooking a wilderness of tropical-style planting. The whole house has an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and I positively looked forward to getting back for a second night after a brief holiday in Europe. Lovely breakfast with splendid conversation. Easy walking to the port. If... More

Stayed one night at this marvellous BNB. Alastair and Betty are charming hosts and will help with lots of information. Car parking is not a problem either. We stayed in the Clementine room. I had previously asked for the Winston but when it saw Clemy I had to stay there instead. Beautiful room and a big bathroom with lots of... More

Loved our stay with Alastair & Betty. We had booked one room but saw another very near the car parking area and immediately changed rooms (for a whole 5 quid more). VERY large room, bathroom almost the size of some of the B&B rooms we've been in on this vacation. Free wifi was great.. but didn't penetrate the walls of... More
