We took a chance on this local pub for a single night's stay whilst doing a gig in near-by Tunbridge Wells.

Steve, the Manager, was very welcoming (and very funny). We enjoyed a good meal from a small menu of available bar food at 4.30 in the afternoon.

The bedroom was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom (with Jaccussi!) was quite unique and very large. This is an excellent feature.

The management waited up until we returned from the gig and were friendly and hospitable.

Breakfast was excellent and the whole stay was characterised by a relaxed, friendly and very accomodating approach by the staff.

Highly recommended. Good value. more
