My husband and I stayed one night while visiting family in Tunbridge Wells. We were very suprised how shabby and out dated the room was for the price. Bed was little more than a camp bed that tipped up if one of us sat on the edge of it. The mattress was very thin and the bedding very cheap. The furniture was old, cheap and shabby. The TV belonged in a museum. There was no proper stand up shower only a hand-held shower attachment in the bath. Hardly a word was said to us by the staff as though they too were embarassed by the poor quality of the room. It would have been expensive at half the price. Sadly we will not be staying here again. more
