There's nothing else to say other than DO NOT GO THERE! After waiting 10 minutes before being checked in, I was confronted with the most disgusting room (both in dirt and date) only to decide to sleep on a towel! Breakfast wasn't much better, the tables were splattered with old food and coffee rings. I checked out that day.....so did... more

We stayed here for two nights (its now called the Stop Inn) and have to say that I really was expecting the worst having read all the previous reviews, so was pleasantly surprised to find a great value hotel in the centre of Hull. The hotel certainly needs re-decorating and updating as wallpaper is ripped in places and very dated... more

The stop Inn is located a few yards from Hull train station, do not look as elegant externally or internally as shown in pictures around the Internet. i travelled to Hull for the first time and blindly booked the Stop Inn Hotel for one night. The staff were not very experienced and did not have much to offer - however... more

Staff rude and generally unhelpful. Room dirty. Carpet was not hoovered in a week. Bedding smelled of stale sweat. Towels in bathroom threadbare. Bathroom wallpaper hanging off and large damp patch on lino. Bulb and wire exposed in bathroom fitting. No air conditioning and if visiting in summer, rooms incredibly hot. Car park only able to take approx 6 cars,... more

I've travelled around a bit on business and this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Unhelpful lazy staff, a breakfast room that had clearly not been hoovered for a week or more and was thick with crumbs and other detritus. Mediocre cooking and a knackered bed in a room that was dingy and tired. The only... more

This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. The place is old, which isn't a problem, but it was not well-kept or clean. There were "mystery hairs" in the tub and sink, the shower did not work, the bed looked like the Grand Canyon and there was no A/C. The wallpaper was torn and gouged. Although we got... more
