Hotel staff friendly and helpful, rooms were ok, welcome package in superior rooms good, (water, 2 small bottles wime, pringles and chocs). Wi-fi free which is a bonus. Room was nice size. Breakfast was poor, tinned mushrooms that were not cooked, fried egg cold as were sausages which looked like they had been deep fried. The question is why bother... More

On a stay at Village Hotel, Hull I arrived at approximately 8pm. On approach of the reception desk there were two members of staff behind the counter; neither of them greeted me with a warm welcome. I was advised my room was not ready and left standing at the reception desk tired and weary. The receptionist who was dealing with... More

This room was booked for me by work and I was not disappointed. Spacious room with king size bed and gorgeous bed linen. The bathroom was immaculately clean and modern. The restaurant had one of the best selections of food available and there is something for everyone. Breakfast was a buffet style with absolutely everything cooked to perfection. The staff... More

very reasonable hotel. Only good location if you are travelling by car. 5 minutes to Hull centre. what i like is the facilities. As a guest you can use everything, spa, pool, gym, suana. I have been 3 times now, to spend some quality time with my 8 year old son. He loves the pool, only downside ... kid time... More

My mother and I stayed for two nights on a 'Girlie Weekend' Friday and Saturday night. My mother purchased a KGB/Groupon voucher for £99 for two nights bed and breakfast, however upon closer inspection it looks as though there are often deals about where you can get a cheaper room rate if you book in advance anyway. The hotel is... More

Bear in mind, it was party season. Check in was slow, but helpful. Our room was double and not the requested twin. No one answered phone when we tried to move, but used the room to get ready and requested twin on our return, which was done. The bed was extremely comfy, but I didn't expect dispensers in bathroom. It... More

Stayed for two nights B&B plus dinner first night. Food ,hotel staff.and room all excellent. Used the pool both mornings and could not fault the facilities.Have to mention the polite and helpful staff who advised us to use the nearby park & ride to get to city centre much easier than using the car and run approx every ten minutes. Stayed in this hotel for a Xmas function, the hotel seemed very clean and modern and the leisure facilities seemed to be well used by non guests. This would seem to indicate that if they are willing to pay a monthly membership fee for something the hotel guests get for free, then it must be a good facility. I stayed... More
