Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It is located easy walking from train station. Hotel is clean and bright. The rooms are smaller than what we are used to in the US, but were clean and modern. The shower could use more water pressure, but that seemed to be the case everywhere we stayed. I've stopped in various hotels in Hull and all have been distinctly average. The Holiday Inn Express is great, it's brand new has convienient and cheap parking and is right in the centre of town. The reception\bar is really well appointed and luxurious for this brand of hotel. A huge big screen for sports and a nice place to relax.... more

Great "not many frills" hotel is how I would describe the HI Express Hull. Its only just been opened so still smells new! LOOK & FEEL This is a modern and very comfortable hotel, its part of the recent re-development of Hull around the train station.
