We made a 250 mile round trip to have lunch. What I found was a very disappointing bar area, a souless restaurant and decidedly average food. Although I didn't think the price was over the top the food certainly didn't merit the reviews I'd previously read. more

My wife and I stayed at the Drunken Duck during the weekend of 2/3 Feb. It simply was not worth the whopping £265 we paid for dinner(incl. drinks)/bed/breakfast. The Drunken Duck pretends to be something it is not. The service, food and accommodation are very average. more
