Just stayed at this little pub as a quick getaway with my boyfriend. Great little friendly place - staff were really helpful without being over the top, food was fab. Rooms had character (not just a box with a bed!) Proper pub! Gets really busy at times so best to book a table at night. more

A fantastic location. Idyllic spot a few miles out from Ambleside, perfect for walking and getting away from it all.
