Just returned from a weekend in the roomy scafell apartment. Bedding, towels & heating inc in the price!! Have also stayed in the mardale apartment and thats as good! Brilliant location - leave the car and take a short stroll down the hill and your in ambleside - the less sprightly may not appreciate the hike back up peggy hill!!... more
