We really look forward to our regular holiday breaks at `Riverside`. The Host and hostess are always the same, genuine,friendly, caring geordies! They recommended a delightful four mile walk around Grasmere from one of their many books available to guests. Afternoon tea at the `Swan` was not part of the itinerary, just a great added extra. We keep going back to Riverside as it really is a special experience that consistently delivers every time. We are sure you will not be disappointed. A home from home experience but with full and leisurely breakfasts (which Brenda has won awards for).

Recently stayed at riverside for our 3rd visit and we were not disappointed. The welcome you receive on arrival,the breakfasts,the accommodation all continue to be excellent. We cannot recommend this b&b enough. We will certainly be returning again.

All I can say is if you are visiting the area around Ambleside you must stay at Riverside. David and Brenda are lovely and can't do enough for you to make your stay special.
