I can highly recommend this hotel, my friends and I had trouble finding accomodation and the Forest Side not only accomodated us but went out of there way to make sure my disabled friend had a room that was wheelchair friendly. Forest Side is absolutely the perfect place to stay, set just back off the A591, in the heart of the Lake District set in 43 acres of land with their own wildlife. The Forest Side does look impressive from the outside, but don't be misled by the advertising, particularly with regard to the 40 acres of grounds, with badgers and squirrels.
