We spent the New Year here for a second year running and once again were impressed with the service and cleanliness.
Breakfast is buffet style but items are replenished and kept fresh frequently.

Stayed two nights at Twixtmas 2011, great place - fantastic location for Ambleside and ferry to Bowness / Coniston. Very clean, spacious with friendly, helpful staff.
My only minor criticism was that breakfast was buffet style which meant eggs were not runny!
Overall, a great place and will be back :)
