Its was easy to find and has private parking. Views from the back are great. From the front its the noisy traffic. We booked 2 rooms a twin in the front that was very good. Ferndale Lodge at Ambleside is excellent value for money. Very clean. Breakfast is cooked to your preferance, and is very yummy. The couple running the place are very friendly at all times. The only downside is that there are carpet in the bathrooms, but it isn't disgusting, it's just that I don't like carpet in bathrooms.. I definately would recommend... more
