We had a rear room which was Quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was spot on. The B&B has parking which is not common in Ambleside however as the car park is small if you arrive early you willget blocked in. Ferndale Lodge at Ambleside is excellent value for money. Very clean. Breakfast is cooked to your preferance, and is very yummy. The couple running the place are very friendly at all times. The only downside is that there are carpet in the bathrooms, but it isn't disgusting, it's just that I don't like carpet in bathrooms.. I definately would recommend... more
