Arrived in Ambleside on my own at 4pm on a Wednesday with nowhere to stay & found this gem of a guest house. Very clean comfortable room & good value with a enjoyable breakfast included. Car park spaces for four cars. A five minute walk from the town. I would stay here again.

Just returned from 1 night its a great b@b great room plenty of space in the room for us and the dog the breakfast was very nice and even our dog enjoyed the sausage she was given the b@b is in a great location about 5 mins walk into ambleside we will be returning

We stayed at Wanslea for a long weekend. Excellent location, close to the town, pubs, restaurants and fells. We were there on a very snowy weekend and never used the car once.
