Well positioned for a short walk into town. Nice large room and very quiet. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a great choice. Staff could not be more helpful and nothing too much trouble. The only little niggle is the bathroom door is frosted so does not give a lot of privacy if the light is on in the bathroom. Good... More

We booked this as they allowed dogs to stay, just for one night, on May 12th, what a lovely welcome for us and the dog, fantastic rooms, and the DVD library in reception was a huge bonus due to the awful weather! Will definitely be going back!

what can i say? ideal location....comfortable rooms....lovely owners and the best breakfast you`ll find. i really cant fault this hotel at all...the 3 day break was a dream.nothing too much trouble for the staff. we will certainly be returning again and again

We've been coming to the Lakes Lodge and also their sister hotels for a number of years and never been disappointed with the standard of the roms and the breakfasts -even when the power failed one year they managed to buy in a breakfast from a nearby hotel

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at Lakes Lodge and can only praise this B&B. The room was lovely and the breakfast was excellent with both full english and cereals etc. Location couldn't have been better for the village centre. The staff were also very helpful with directions and local attractions. Would certainly stay here again!
