My family and I stayed at fell Foot Farm in mid June, we found this off the internet, yet another place we needed to stay on our exteneded U.K Europe holiday. The countryside around this area is just spectacular, The farm house has two bedrooms upstairs, my husband and myself had the view from the front off the house overlooking the fells it was stunning. Our room had a ensuite a huge four poster bed lovely furniture with a T.V and tea and coffee making facilities. Our daughters room was just as nice as ours with a little sink in the corner, she had no ensuite but down the hall was a big bathroom for her to use. Breakfast was included in the price, everything we wanted starting from juice cereal freshly brewed coffee full cooked english breakfast, eggs, bacon, tomato and baked beans. It is a lovely place to stay if you want it peaceful, but very hard to find you either need a sat nav in the car or ring Kerrie the owner when you get to Ambleside and she will give you... more
