Gwen & Reg made us feel at home from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Nothing is too much trouble and the room was spasious and confortable. Breakfast was a real feast and we will be going again soon. more

Stayed for 5 nights. Have been to Lakes 9 times but this place is the best by far. From the great welcome and friendliness to the spotless rooms. We were In Ambleside for just one night & were lucky enough to find a vacancy at Amboseli Lodge. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, Gwen & Reg so friendly & welcoming, great breakfast and lovely en-suite bedroom with view over the park to the church. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay more
