Stayed 2 nights here to explore some of the walking routes. Excellent B&B for a home base, close to shops, pubs, and the start of the Fairfield Horseshoe walk. We came back from a day out, quite wet. Our boots were looked after and were dried by the next day. Definitely would stay here again.

If there is a more welcoming, friendly, helpful B&B in Ambleside then go there but I don't think there is anywhere better than here. From the moment you arrive you are made welcome, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the breakfast is tasty and the owners are so helpful. Highly recommended. Location is excellent, a minute's walk from town.
