The Waterwheel guesthouse is situated down a narrow cobbled passageway and next to a stream which runs through the village. The eponymous (stationery and badly neglected) waterwheel is actually attached to a building on the opposite side of a small stream. We stayed in the Stockghyll room - a lovely green (and therefore very calming!) room with a view of the waterwheel. Really spacious bathroom (loved the heated floor!), friendly hosts and tasty home-cooked breakfasts. Excellent location - central, yet tucked away. All in all a good find! more
