We held our wedding at the globe and had over 40 family and friends travel up from Coventry. The service was top class and the food was out standing the portions were enough for a horse to eat. Had the misfortune of booking this hotel for three nights although I only lasted one. The room was very noisey due to a function room directly below. The staff were rude and the room was horrible. Very old fashioned decor, smokey atmosphere. Most rooms are very noisy due to a nightclub on the ground floor with no or little soundproofing and hotel bar open till early hours. Not recommended to sufferers of asthma due to smoke ingress into bedrooms from bar and nightclub below. You have been warned! more
