If you are looking for a place to stay in the lake district this is it. Immaculately clean, cosy, and a very good breakfast to set you up for the day. Lorton village pub is close by, which i can recommened.

Janette and Andrew are wonderful hosts and they serve the best breakfasts in the Lakes! The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable and offer very good value for money. Always our first choice.

The apartment we rented was clean spacious and private. The service from the staff was so caring and they catered for your every need with a big smile. We will most definately will be returning soon. Stayed at Graysonside a few times with work, but more recently I've returned two years running with my wife. Andrew and Jeanette are exceptionally friendly. The location is ideal for exploring the north lakes, being a stone's throw from Buttermere, Grassmoor etc. Rooms are superb as are the breakfasts....We'll be back sometime soon.

stayed one nite on a work trip. the room was excellent and the bed (a four poster) very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was fine appart from the shower which didn;t exactly pin you to the wall with its high pressure spray. This is a fantastic 5 star B&B on the edge of Cockermouth town. The owners go out of their way to provide an excellent & friendly service. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Graysonside for a few nights as we explored the Lake District. We loved the seclusion and beautiful surroundings. Our hosts made great suggestions for sightseeing and dining. Breakfasts were wonderful. The room was large and very comfortable; free WiFi. We highly recommend Graysonside as a home away from home!
